Three of the "Big Beasts" of nineteenth century literature are covered by this tour. We visit the childhood home of Charles Dickens in Portsmouth, spending some time at the historic Dockyard. Jane Austen's home in Chawton is the next port of call. The following day takes us into Thomas Hardy's Wessex.
